Climate Action Bondi is a collective of local residents who have come together out of mutual distress over Australia’s excessive greenhouse gas emissions, dependence on coal-fired energy, and the world our children will inherit.

If current trends continue Bondi beach will cease to exist by 2100. This would be a horrible legacy to leave future generations. We urge all Bondi residents to get active by making positive changes in their home and community. You can begin by buying green power, using energy efficient light bulbs, and talking about climate change to friends and family.

• Lobby Local, State, and Federal Government about climate change.
• Hold community events to educate people about climate change.
• Promote awareness of green energy providers.
• Work with Waverly Council in their environmental programs.
• Write about climate change in our local paper, The Bondi View.

Current CAB events

CAB is back after a summer break. We had our first meeting last week and have some exciting ideas to keep climate and emission cuts on the agenda. As part of this, our website will be changing so watch this space!
